Larry Booher Sr. knows floor covering….and he knows the Miami Valley. He has been working in the floor covering business for over 40 years in one capacity or another. He built a far-reaching dealer network while learning the business from the ground up - from selection to installation to care and maintenance.

In 1985, Larry opened his first store, which he has moved, remodeled, and expanded over the years to be the present-day location on Linden Avenue. It didn’t take long for both commercial and residential customers to begin doing business with Booher Carpet as word spread of the tremendous selection and expertise.

It now ranks as one of the premier floor covering showrooms in Dayton. Our selection of Area Rugs, for example, is virtually unmatched.

In 1996, Larry Booher Jr. joined his father in running the store, helping ensure that the same tradition of excellence is passed down from generation to generation. And in 2003, Booher Carpet expanded with a second store in Waynesville, making it even easier to meet the growing floor covering needs for businesses and residents throughout the Miami Valley!
